Our Wedding

Izzy and I met back in 2023 when Ramon Campos Jr. brought us together to play Dungeons and Dragons! Over that time, we have grown to know and love each other's creativity, nerdiness, and commitment to gaming!We got married in April of this year, but did not want a bunch of you to have to hike into the woods with us! So, we decided to throw a party to say thank you to the people we have known and loved in our time in Wisconsin!Please know this is a party with an open bar, two buffets, prizes, and tabletop games! Please arrive anytime after 5 pm but before 10 pm if you want food or to be a part of the prizes!

This beautiful woman has been a friend of ours from the beginning of our relationship.
From helping write resumes to planning this wonderful party, she has been our friend and champion in every way.
This is a Co-Owner of The Milwaukee Timberwolves, who will be playing at Brookfield Ponds this Fall.
Rowen and Izzy are Booster Moms for the players and are looking to grow the community surronding the team.

Ray is the man who brought us together and helped create a safe space where we could always show up as ourselves, no matter what.
We are so grateful that he agreed to oversee our vows and break bread with us at our first meal as a married couple.

Nick has a way of making everyone around him feel so safe, seen, and valued. He's lovable in a genuine way, just like a big brother who's always looking out for you (or an abuela)! He's wise, thoughtful, and somehow always seems to know exactly what to say when things get tough. The holder of the symbol of our commitment! He broke bread with us at our first meal as a married couple. He is more than a friend-- he's family, and we are so grateful for you!

Jessica is one of those rare people who makes every room warmer just by being in it. She's sweet, endlessly kind, and always seems to know how to make everyone feel included. Whether we're laughing over a ridiculous DnD encounter or navigating a tough day in real life, we can always count on Jess. She is the woman who helped capture our moment in the woods and broke bread with us at our first meal as a married couple. We're incredibly lucky to have her in our lives, at our table, and in our hearts. Thank you for being a part of our family!

Later this summer, Jessica took an official wedding portrait of us in an old style, which can be seen at the party along with a few other tokens of our Elopement.

Stephanie has known Izzy and Rowen both separately and together. She offered to bring mead to our Elopement to help us honor the age-old tradition of sharing it on our wedding night, and to break bread with us at our first meal as a married couple. 
She is our Witness, our Friend, our confidant.

Our first summer as a married couple has been wonderful and chaotic. Luckily, we had a lot of people in our corner to help us settle into this new chapter.The Refinery Photo Studio, Jessica Kaminski, and Ryan Manske sat down with us to help a special vision come to life. Back before everyone had a camera in their pocket, couples used to get one or two photos of themselves on or around their wedding day. I asked Jessica if we could recreate the magic of a moment in time. So she saw my vision and picked the perfect location. The Joan of Arc Temple on Maraquette Campus.I also asked Jessica if we could recreate The Meeting on the Turret Stairs, a Painting by Frederic William Burton. I hope we did this masterpiece justice.The dress I am wearing in these photos was a gift from Stephanie Campos. She bought it in France before we met; then she gifted it to me when we announced our engagement to them on their couch in Burlington. The dress is from the same home country as the temple in these photos; that little detail means a lot to me.My lovely wife picked the flowers I hold, as well as ran with any idea I threw her way. (This whole Photoshoot)These wonderful women helped make the magic that is this series of portraits.Ryan was the ever-kind and patient man who carried so much. Thank you.We all had a role to play in these beautiful portraits you see below.

When we ran off into the woods, we went full fantasy with it! So, if you want to dress whimsical and elfish, please feel encouraged. If that is not your vibe, please come in whatever you find both clean and comfortable!
